Le site Omegacorner met à disposition des drivers optimisés pour les cartes graphiques ATI. Ces drivers sont basés sur une version des Catalyst d'ATI qui semble plus récente (mais non officielle).
A la liste, s'ajoutent : (information tirée du fichier readme des drivers)
- Based on the leaked Dell drivers (I'm sure almost nobody heard about these, it was a small leak and it was controlled in time by ATI). (2k/XP)
- New Control Panel option, the WMV hardware support.
- More Smartshaders effects for OpenGL.
- Fixed the TV out problems, now the monitor is no longer locked at 60Hz with TV enabled.
- Fixed the mutiple monitor problems in the device manager and ATI CP.
- Fixed the "Soft-Mods", some games should no longer crash.
- Enabled Overclocking support in the normal and soft-moded drivers for ALL - CARDS based on the following chipsets, even if they are locked: RV250/RV280/R300/RV350.
- Removed rTool from the driver package as it is no longer needed.
- Added the ATI Software uninstaller. (2k/XP)

Bien sûr, n'étant pas officiel, son utilisation reste à vos risques et péril. Cependant, Omegacorner a toujours fait du bon travail.
Ce pilote pourrait aider les INpactiens (et autres :)) déçus par les Catalyst 3.8 notamment par le bug de l'AGP 8x. En effet, il semblerait que certains contastent sur les Radeon 9700 pro un AGP bloqué en 4X...
